Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

There is a ‘tech’ shop in the Galerie de Peclet (73440 Val Thorens) that sells them.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

2nd mortgage required. It's a captive audience so everything in there is somewhat overpriced. They were asking for €15 for a new U-bend for our washbasin when an identical one cost €3 in Moutiers rolling eyes

If the adapter is only for use with a mobile phone charger, a universal European USB plug from a shop in Moutiers could be a cheaper alternative. We use them (bought cheap on eBay) instead of taking UK chargers and adapters.

@Elsie80, i bought two in a supermarket in VT this week, daughters forgot theirs!!

it was the spa supermarket at the bottom of rue du soleil, next to the shamrock pub. cost about 15 euros for the pair, but if you can get them on the way up i would if just for peace of mind.

Always take a small UK 4x gang with travel adaptor permanently plugged into the UK socket end; less likely to get forgotten about next time and negates taking multiple 2 Pins . . .

Talking about buying stuff in VT, one of the guys I'm going with has asked about vapes? Should he get a few extra before we get there, or are they pretty available, and likely cost?

Any ideas?

Tell him to pack it in. When you see the clouds emitted by vapers it's like watching the Flying Scotsman! Shocked You should do a video of him in action and ask him what he thinks.... wink Toofy Grin

We just purchased two of the USB adaptors in the Peclet Carrefour in VT so if it is for items with USB cables then does the job. As per the image from @mountainaddict,

Indeed - I actually think he is planning to, but that's down to him. Just thought I'd ask the collective to see if there was an idea of availability and pricing in resort.
