@snowscreen, great to see that LGB can still be "fun for all the family" at Christmas despite lousy snow cover. If I remember correctly, we were hiking on grass that week ABOVE the ski resort, some of us in trainers and t-shirts  .

Back here today for a short stint - cloudy morning developed into steady snow late morning. Now dry but overcast. Poor light but not bad ski conditions today

Highest will be best - La Balme area.
Skiing in Le Grand Bornand/Chinaillon today was really spring like.
It was raining when we had breakfast so wasn't expecting much but by the time we'd got ourselves organised the weather had improved and for a spell it was sunny and pretty warm.
Rain crept back in right at the end of the day but on the whole we had a great day - quiet slopes, lifts and restaurants.
Sitting in the hot tub in the rain late afternoon was really nice.
Hotel Le Delta has been really good. Will definitely consider a return visit next Easter.

@MazDave, hard to beat heading to the hot tub after the slopes. Glad you enjoyed Le Delta. Would have felt very guilty if you had not enjoyed your stay.

Glorious last few days to be had for anyone lucky enough to be in striking distance - fresh snow, sunshine, empty slopes .......sigh!!
